Yes, vinegar has many uses! Love it!

When I'm out for a walk, particularly when it's cold, I like the smell dryer sheets when I pass houses. I prefer them to vinegar any day.

No I don't use vinegar like that but thanks for telling us !I may try it now.

To add, about vinegar. You just reminded me. A grocer from my old neighborhood (when I lived in the city), used to swear by ingesting a tablespoon of vinegar a day to clean out his insides. He lived to be 90.

No, I didn't know that. Thanks for enlightening me.

Interesting. I've never heard of vinegar used as a fabric softener. I might try using it in my dishwasher and a load or two of laundry.

We have very hard water here in the Los Angeles area. I add Arm and Hammer baking soda to my laundry and let it soften the water so the detergent works better. I like the results. Use it once a month on my drains as well for any build up of gunk. So far, so good.

Don't forget: Laundry: Use white vinegar, not the red and/or apple cider.

And inexpensive, too. Buy it (brand name) at the dollar store when it's available there.
