Does anyone else think Bachelor Pad is scripted?

My daughter and I watched last night and laughed all the way through. It was so obvious how scripted it was!

The "Nearlywed Game" - Maybe Michelle and Graham really did come up with their "strategy" themselves, but if they did, you know they had to clear it with the producers. I caught a lot of smiling. I think a lot of the answers were coached.

Blake and Erica's date - That was totally ridiculous. They were told exactly who to give the roses to. Had it not been producer driven, I think those roses would have gone to Kirk and Ella. Blake and Kirk supposedly are pretty close. Did you notice the forboding music when they showed Vienna and Casey?

Blake and Holly kissing and Michael walking in - I told my daughter he was probably waiting until the producers told him to go in - "cue Michael's entrance"!

Vienna and Casey - Don't get me started. Their dialogue was so producer driven it wasn't even funny

Ella comforting Holly when she was crying - Really? Holly was dabbing at her eyes, but I didn't see any tears!

I think this has been a set up from Day One for Graham to win. He was likeable on his season of the Bachelorette, and he and his charity have a strong following. He does a lot of charity work. The producers want us to see the drama now for ratings, but they want us to have a feel good ending.

So - last night I was doubting myself. They really played up Kirk and Ella's stories about needing the money. As some contestant last night said, (I think it was Vienna) everyone has a story. But Kirk and Ella's stories will be enough so if THEY win, we will feel good.

Did Blake need the money? Probably not as much as some of the others. Was he REALLY the most hated man once Jake left? I doubt it. Erica's doesn't need the money as much either.

Next week will be the final episode. We'll find out what the contestants are up to now. I hope they bring Jeff (The Mask) on - we miss seeing him!
