My pet peeve is more about posters who refuse to

write with paragraphing!

One poster writes long-winded posts and never seems

to realize when paragraphing makes sense.

Someone even told her some time ago, "paragraphs are your friend", and that didn't sink in....

@Susan in California  a few Posters have said that it depends on what device you are using. Don't know.

I never do that and cant stand to go thru all of it to see comments.  I always start a new comment without all the added stuff.

Might just be me that is annoyed by it LOL.

@CherryHugs   You started one with this post. It's up to 6 pages now..

She's talking about when pages of quotes are copied and you have to go through all of them to find the new post.  She's not talking about long threads @KatieB .

@San Antonio Gal    That's funny.  The title/subject of her thread is "Does anyone agree about long threads".   So that's what I thought she was talking about.

@KatieB  You can set your preferences to how you want it. I’ve got mine set to 50 messages on each page—so I’m on page 2 now. Not trying to single you out but others may not be aware, too.  : )

@Teddie, I thought I had my set on 50, but I just checked and it was at 40. I changed it to 50. Not that I would want more, but I wonder if 50 is the max. I didn't test it.

What's weird is that you can adjust how many posts on a page and also how many posts you can see. I have no idea how the latter is different from the former, so I set both at 50.

Re: Does anyone agree about long threads

I agree it's annoying when posters keep quoting and quoting and quoting the same posts such that by the time they add what they want to say, the entire post is ridiculously long. It's easy to edit down posts to just quote that part that one wishes to respond to. Likewise pictures. It's easy to delete or downscale pictures rather than to jeep quoting and posting the same large photographs.

LOL, I'd say the previous 4 or 5 comments are exactly what the original question was all about!

@suzyQ3  I’m  not sure what that means either?

Re: Does anyone agree about long threads

@CherryHugs I find it annoying too, when there’s never ending quotes and then finally the poster’s comment. One or two quotes are fine though.
