We rescued an 8 year old terrier mix this weekend. No sooner did we get it home than we realized she has a lump on her upper back about the size of a large marble. It's kind of rubbery and not painful when we touch it.. hard to see it, covered in hair. Of couse I have a vet appt this afternoon, but in the meantime I'm sneaking this post in from work because I'm beside myself with worry. I understand no one can diagnose her sight unseen, but is there something else it could possibly be besides cancer in an 8 year old dog?
