DH and I know all of one another's passwords, account #s and are co-owners/co- signers of evrything. We even have small address sized password books ( one for him, one for me that go with us on all trips ( even locally). Some passwords are encoded but we both know the codes. Over 39 years of marriage there have been more than a few times that these arrangements have been vital. I agree with others that you shouldn't be married if you can't share your information and accounts.

DH and I know all the info to each other's cellphones, tablets, computers, etc. And why not? We have nothing to hide. We give each other privacy, but it's good to know these things.

Sure, of course my husband knows all of my passwords. And I know his. We did not have to ask each other for them. When we set up anything that needs one we automatically just let each other know what it is. Phones, Ipads, computers, online bill payments, all are known to both of us and we would not have it any other way. Important information for both of us to know.

We know each others. For a while, I didn't have one. But I decided in case it was stolen, person could get on my apps and spend stuff. So I got one put in. We know a lot of our passwords. If husband wants something from QVC, I buy it for him. He doesn't have an account there.

I don't know why he would ask, he'd have to have an excellent reason for asking for a password. It's not about trust, it's just that we two separate individuals. I've had a few surgeries in my life and I did give him my phone and a couple of other passwords. Just in case. And when I was back on my feet, I changed them. My BFF of 40 years each have a "file" with each other's vital information, including passwords. Including how to access this board to advise posters of my passing.
Why doesn't this surprise me? You give it to your BFF, but not your DH.
Wow, just wow.
