Im glad you cleared this up because DH (the cat man) has been telling people for years its spayed and neutered cats that have them! Now I can finally tell him he was wrong as my daughter said. So yes our 3 cats have them (AND all the cats we ever have had, had them too). My daughters cat DOES NOT have one. I really thought it was overweight cats who do because our cats are overweight and daughters isn't. Well you learn something new every day! lol

My kitty had one. He dropped weight when he got hyperthyroidism and it went away. He's lean now.
