A friend sent this to me and it made me chuckle.  We still
go out and go to parties, but it seems we keep getting home earlier and earlier!  Lol.

Re: Does This Strike a Chord?

Those are my goals too. We were invited to a party next month and have no desire to go so we made up an excuse. I would rather stay home and do laundry than go to a party where I don't know anyone.

Oh yes.  We're going to just vacation in our own state.  Luckily, it's a great state to vacation in so we're good with that.

Sending joy, prayers, love and gentle hugs to all who need them this holiday season.

I find this to be true. The world, society has become so harsh. I have no desire to mingle. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I'm not looking for a date. Today people are so complicated, socializing is complicated. I'd rather stay home with the beagles.

I agree with socializing being complicated. You have to be careful in what you say because you might offend someone. It gets to a point that it is like walking on eggshells when you talk to people. I would rather stay home and watch movies.
