Does This Bother Anyone Else?

While this may be part of everyday speech among texters or younger (yes, I am very old) folks, the phrase "OMG" really cuts to the quick. I see it as trivializing the name of God - and whether you relate to it as a small "g" or supreme diety, it sets my teeth on edge. This is meant to be a contemplative question - not a rant ...

ETA: Maybe this should have gone on Viewpoints ...
