No. I'm not that suggestive.

We were taught (good important lessson) to ALWAYS COVER OUR MOUTHS WHEN WE YAWNED, and also WHEN WE SNEEZED.

It's so gross and ugly to see someone, especially a female yawn wide and she hasn't brushed her teeth or cared for them - ultra gross.

Where the heck do you live that you consistently see people with un-cared for teeth?

Women and men.

Yes, I yawn when others do and I've never seen a gross mouth.  Nor would I have ever thought of this as a response to an interesting question.

Ok, I'm glad I wasn't the only one trying to figure out how the heck we went there.......:-/

To answer the OP, yes, it makes me yawn. Just reading the word "yawn" in the thread title made me yawn. They have always been "highly contagious" with me!

Re: Does Seeing Someone Yawn

As someone who has led many workshops and seminars, I can tell you from experience that once a conferee yawns, others will follow suit.  I have been caught up in the contagion as well and got folks to laugh about the phenomenon.

Afternoons are the best time to catch this sight.   It usually is due to not enough oxygen in the body, so I had folks get up and move around for a few minutes, then back to the subject matter.

@MalteseMomma, yes, it works with cats too........the difference is, when you yawn first, cats will turn their head away from you before they let out the yawn.  (they will never admit to it :-D )
