Does Mary Beth's husband have a job?

I am just curious...over the years Mary Beth rarely mentions what type of work her husband does. Is he a stay-at-home-Dad? Nothing wrong with that. She just seems so traditional I thought that her husband would have a job also. She used to refer to him golfing and growing roses.
