I always try to look and see if someone else has started a thread on something I want to say. I'll look on the whole page, but I'm don't scour the whole forum for it. Then someone will say there is already one started. Now if I had seen it I certainly wouldn't start another, but really what's the big deal? I also don't mind if a topic I started takes a different turn, some people do.I'm just trying to get along with everyone!
********************************************* Good post. I think when someone points out that there's another post on a topic you started that they may just spend a little too much time on here!!! I do read the posts but not every minute of every day, nor under every thread. To those that are bothered, "Please, just don't click on it!!!"!!!!!

I am amazed when people get on here and get snarky, downright mean,critical and judgemental. I don t ususally let it bother me because there are so many serious things going on in the world and even my life that I just ignore it. If someone comes on these boards to be anything but informative and offer an opinion and start a friendly discussion I just go on to something else and ignore. I love to hear other peoples opinion even if it differs from my own and love to learn about new things from the people on here.

It would be mind-numbing to go thru all 22 categories

My opinion is -- who cares if there is more than one thread on a subject.? I don't see where it matters. But that's just me. Sometimes you might not be on the computer for a day or so or you don't have time to look through all the topics and just look at a few. So, no, it does not bother me at all.

@AngelPuppy1 ITA!
It seems petty to be nit picking and trying
to "show somebody up" like they need
to do a walk of shame or something for having a
post or thread that's been posted before.
It's the "board police syndrome" lol.
Anyway in the end the nit picker's the one
that looks silly when they do it.
😉
