I'm curious because sometimes hosts and vendors are totally sleeveless in the Winter and some have on layers and long sleeves, while still others have on heavy sweaters. I know some of it is what they are selling, but like today Josie and Shawn are sleeveless. I live in Va and I know it was warmer than usual and I know they are in Pennsylvania, but inside at the restaurants, it was still chilly. I guess because I'm sitting here tonight with the Dyson thing set on 75 (and it's blowing out warm air), if some of the hosts are just warm natured or why there's such a variance on what they wear.
Anyone who's toured the place heard or know what it is (temp wise). It's not a big deal, just curious.

The studio lights on set can be very warm for some people.

@MyGirlsMom Thanks! I didn't think of that! I'll bet they are hot! Also I know it is divided up into a lot of little rooms and big rooms (I think it is), total guess on my part. I feel like I'm freezing watching them...I think I'm just old. I can't even blame it on menopause because I'm 70 and pretty much past that.

I noticed that too especially today. Only I was thinking if the studio is freezing cold why doesn't Josie have goose bumps? All that oil on her shoulders & arms the bumps should be visible.
Then I remembered, she & Shawn must be standing directly under the studio lights to keep warm.
All the female hostesses complain from time to time how freezing the studio is. The male hosts NEVER complain. Then again, their arms are ALWAYS covered & Dave wears a sweater vest. ![]()

well, i know that i am totally comfortable at a temperature of 60 degrees. i have friends and family who are FREEZING at 60 degrees. still others may think that 60 degrees is pretty darn warm.
isnt it really all relative? just because it may be snowing outside doesnt mean i have on a turtleneck and sweater inside. i could very well be in a tank top.

@Annabellethecat66 Haven't you noticed newscasters and weather reporter Nationwide on TV wear sleeveless tops and dresses even in the middle of winter? Look at the women on GMA and the Today show. This is a trend Michelle Obama started and it seems to be continuing. It looks ridiculous. It's cold in Philly!

Huh? I'm pretty sure that the Qvc building has heat...lol Sleevless dresses aren't just for summertime, if the hosts are sleeveless now it's because it's a fashion choice. Josie makes me smile everytime she's on, that woman is always half naked...lol She wears barely-there cocktail dresses so she can spend the entire presentation massaging body lotion into her arms for the visual effect.

I heard host say that it was cold in there at QVC. I think they wear sleeveless to make a fashion statement, which I think is ridiculous this time of year.

When I had my tv segment the lights never made me hot. Some people I think are just more hot natured and vice versa.

The First Lady didn't start the sleeveless trend. It's a fashion statement that she, like millions of other fashionable women adopted.
