Wouldn't be surprised if it turns up on one.

I read the story.  But isn't draino so toxic that he would smell or taste something different?  Either way, sad that people can't just leave a relationship instead of trying to kill one another.

Re: Doctor caught poisoning her husband with Drano

This is not a funny story but I had to laugh.

She's on video yet the lawyer unequivocally denies she ever tried to poison her husband. Was she aiming for the kids instead? I never knew you could use Drano as an alternative sweetener.

Whatever happened to "Guilty, Your Honor" as the video explicitly shows and throwing yourself on the mercy of the court?

And what was she going to do with his body if she god forbid was successful? Plant him in the backyard?

I really don't get people anymore. I'm not happy. I'm filing for divorce. Here's my new address. See you in court is a better look all the way around as a petitioner not an attempted murder suspect.

Sounds like it's from one of those ID crime shows.

[ Edited ]

I had read that.

And in addition to being shocked about what she was doing - I read this

  • On August 4, Yu was arrested by the Irvine Police Department and posted the $30,000 bail, a day later

So she was putting Drano in his lemonade and she posted $30,000 bail. Really? Only $30,000?

PS -  AND she is using the large economy size of Drano. Emily Yu, Irvine Police Arrest Irvine Woman for Poisoning Her Husband

The bail amount has NOTHING to do with California.

Re: Doctor caught poisoning her husband with Drano

There was a case of a woman who killed her husband by putting anti-freeze in his drink.  The anti-freeze has a sweet taste so it is not noticeable.  This story was on Dateline.
