I saw the ENT today and he said it was not staph.....and said it could be so and so and so and so and I thought I need my note book..........normally he knows I have to have things written down but it was getting late and I thought I might could remember.........so he took an instrument and blew something cool inside both nostrils and he said it would help with swelling............I am having trouble on both sides.......I did not realize that.......so he wrote these prescriptions for me................SMZ/TMP DS 800/160 tablet to take twice a day and then for the inside of both sides he wrote for me Mupirocin Ointment.

So..........I go back in two weeks. I am believing that it will be better.........thank you for your time and all that wished me well. Happy Weekend to all and be safe in your travels and ladies watch those steps and handbags.

R&R, well I hope this doctor helped you with your problem. I know how up set you were. Take the medicine and lets hope this clears up for you. good luck now maybe you can relax a little since you had it checked out. Take care.

From what you've said it sounds like a sinus infection? Bactoban( Mupirocin) is usually for a staph infection so I'm curious as to why he said it's not?

Thank you sweet ladies and I don't know how he can look at the inside of my nose and think it is not Staph without taking a sample or something..........this is one of the doctors I went to when I was diagnosed with something that I am not ready to talk about now.......or when I first made a statement about it.......I am praying for healing and believing for healing and when I am healed I will let those interested know what I was told was not curable.........there is power in prayer......anyway I wish I knew what he sprayed in my nose???

From your description, it sounds like a nasal decongestant. It allows him to get a better look at things and opens up your nasal passages and sinuses.
