The homework thread got me to thinking about study halls. We didn't have them at our school district out in Northern California but my kids have them here. I have a couple of questions about them in general......
1. Are they usually ran by a certified teacher? or an aide?
2. Do they have to do school work there or can they sit around and chat or play games, etc?
3. What is the difference between a study hall and a study skills class? (Is the latter sp ed?)
I think they are probably a good idea but I would have hated them as a kid, I think.
