IMO reading a lot and learning is better than games, although I do play a few games for fun.
There's always something new to hear about casually and then research in depth. I know @cherry and I share an interest in archaeology.
There's a lot of credible information online, you can look for academic sites. And then there are brilliant teachers on youtube like the Kahn Institute teaching mathematics.

I don't stimulate my bra.....but I play games on Pogo which may not improve memory, but can keep you thinking and keep the brain active....![]()

I love to play games and do puzzles. The only games I have are what Microsoft offers..... When I had my other laptop, I had a whole bunch of free games on my computer and it crashed......the gentleman that tried to fix my computer said he always advises customers not to go to those free games.....as there is no way to know if they can give us a virus and do harm to our computers.
When I go for my cancer treatments I take my tablet with me to play games.....and sometimes I will pick up one of the puzzle books that other patients bring in for us to work in. Someone always brings in new ones.
I love to read, but have found out that recently I have been having a hard time concentrating on what I am reading...... Was going to take a book with me to treatments, but there is way too much that goes on in the treatment room for me to be able to concentrate. Nurses are working with patients and their IV monitor that beeps on its own......
Alzheimer ran in my father's side of the family. It was the women that had it. My father had 4 sisters and out of the 4, 3 had Alzheimer.

The idea of using online games to stimulate one's bra is so funny!

It's about learning new things, especially if you have to struggle with it. It's not about keeping busy or very busy.
The usual example is learning a new language.

@Noel7 To be clear, my job requires that I constantly learn new things. I totally understand. I wasn't referring to just being busy.

I go on luminosity also. I play games on Facebook too as in Words with Friends, Trivia Crack, and Song Pop. I used to play others on FB also but I gave them up.

I LOVE playing Words with Friends. I currently have 50 games in progress.
I also play Trivia Crack. I don't like that one too much but two of my friends do so I play with them.
