I was born and raised in sunny Southern Cal and now live in the Pacific Northwest where there are a lot grey skies.  I definitely see a difference up here when the sun is out.  Everyone in friendlier.

Born and raised in Southern California and moved to Northern Michigan in my mid 20's. I've visited a few times and the lifestyle is much different. Would love to move back but can't afford. Next best thing would be a snowbird but in Ireland not Florida.
