In high school, I was on my school's team that competed on a local TV station.

Too many intangibles to know whether or not I could win on any given day but I will say there are times when I know the answer and wonder to myself how in the world did I know that.

Most of my answers are guesses and lots of times they are right. Other times I slap myself for not blurting out the answer I have in my head because it was right.

I can never answer in the form they want you to as in ""what is.....or who is....or where is....""

I know people who 'play' that game with the proper answer format and it cracks me up.

Since the contestants are pretested, the producers or whomever chooses the categories and questions, can rig it to favor or disfavor a player. Maybe, to be fair, they are chosen by a computer.

I am weak on sports but strong in most of the other categories. I don't know if I'd be too nervous to buzz promptly, though.

All the winners say pressing the buzzer first is the most important thing.

I would think that gives the returning player an advantage, well if he actually knows the answer.

I'm really good at Jeopardy....I'm a font of useless knowledge. LOL! My husband and I watch it every day. My husband is very smart, but can't think as quickly as I can. The trick would be buzzing in at the right time. It's tricky. The buzzers don't work until Alex completes the entire clue.
