One of my email accounts gets a lot of spam mail addressing me as "mighty mister". I've been getting them for years, and it's getting old. I was pleased to see they've upped their game this week, and I got "Greetings, well hung sweetheart!"

This portion made no sense to me:

Note:
- The link of the coupon will expire within 24 hour from now.
- The coupon validity is 30 days.

croemer asking:Which is it 24 hours or 30 days?

Not that it matters because it's not real, but you have 24 hours to obtain the coupon and 30 days to use it.

Ha...I am sure happy I did not click on that link...

This portion sounds like it is someone from another country:

we selected more than one million customers in first step.

As does this:This coupon is valid for all amazon product take it in the link below

HA HA!

Sounds like they want to you "take it in the *** below".

No. amazon.com always addresses customers by first names. Also, look at the sentence structure and grammar. Finally, amazon.com would not direct you to another site.

Re: Do you think this is s real e-mail??

No, it doesn't look legit.

I've won two internet contests in the last two months. Yes, I'm feeling very lucky!

For the smaller win (a $75 Amazon gift card), I received just an email to notify me. I was very suspicious, but it was legit.

This past week, I won a trip through HSN, and they called me first, to be sure I wanted to accept it. Again, I was wary, but they later emailed all the forms to me, including an IRS form, since I need to report this on next year's tax return.

so...the moral of this story is that some of us really do win these contests. But be careful.
