I don't know if it's true, as a mother I wouldn't want that woman anywhere near my family but on the other hand, we hear monthly tales of the happenings at the Kennedy compound so may be she'll fit right in.

According to the Internet, Patrick was born 9-18-93 and is 21 years old. Thus, he is an adult and can make his own decisions with or without the advice of his mother, Maria. Perhaps he won't vacation or spend Christmas in Mass. either.

I doubt if Maria is overly thrilled, but the article is probably a big load of hooey. Sells a lot of papers....

Maybe Maria is wisely letting it run its course like a lot of young Hollywood relationships will do.

Even if this does last awhile, apparently Miley's on stage and off stage demeanors are two very different things.

As others have said, Patrick S. is an adult and can make his own decisions whether his family likes it or not. It is his and Miley's beeswax, no one else's.
