Re: Do you think it's safe to pay with a DEBIT card for online purchases?

The biggest problem is if the debit card is hacked and used what if you had bills coming out and all the bills bounced because your checking got drained. That would be a nightmare.

i don’t have a credit card. I have a chase liquid card which is a reloadable visa  card. When I make purchases I go online before and transfer money out of my savings on to it. IT has  a fee of 4.95 a month but it is well worth it since I don’t have a CC.

@ccassaday  Why not have at least one CC? They cost you nothing, pay it off in full each month....get reward points for using it ...like free money. $4.95 a month is over $50 a year that you would  not have to pay using a credit card like Discover.

@MsCatLuver I  have used it many times on line and have never had a problem. I guess you can never say never, but I am comfortable using it.
