Yes I will admit it too. It is human nature. Those in denial find it easier to post examples of hypocrisy in others not realizing how obvious their own denial is to everyone.

I've admitted to it several times in the thread, as have others. I think it's pretty clear, over time, when we see some with a pattern of pointing fingers at others and little or no pattern of being self-aware... and others who often admit to mistakes and stumbles when they make them. I make a lot of mistakes, do my best to acknowledge and apologize, and move forward. It's the human condition.

Absolutely I have seen you apologize and try to make things right with other posters. I respect that.

Thanks, LaVieEnRose! That's kind of you to say. I've learned that most posters here can do the same, have done the same, and it's always encouraging to see.

For heaven's sake....

Can't you accept that people are admitting it and just leave it alone?

I agree. Some hypocrites are just plain old people-pleasers.

Re: Do you think hypocrites have low self esteem?

The Affordable Care Act does not compel members of Congress to enroll in DC’s health care exchange; it simply cuts off the government contribution to their insurance plans if they buy their policies elsewhere. “The final rule extends a Government contribution towards health benefits plans for Members of Congress and designated congressional staff so long as the health benefits plans are purchased via the appropriate SHOP as determined by the Director,” a summary of the final rule says. “Nothing in the final rule or the law prevents a Member of Congress or designated congressional staff from declining a Government contribution for him or herself by choosing a different option for their health insurance coverage.”
