Oh gosh I hope not! lol. I email to text to my kids/grandkids and to tell them something that is a lot I have to send numerous msgs because they cant read it all on texts! Actually I wish cellphones would disappear off the face of the earth! I prefer IN PERSON CONTACT! I have a cell, in my purse, never use it...lol. Thankfully my kids and I also call each other on the phone and visit regularly. Its SO sad that human interaction is disappearing and people are staring at phones like zombies. Ok I'll stop now. lol

While texting is good for short fast notifications, it's so impersonal and not good for long conversations. I would sooner get a phone call or speak to someone in person.

I text for personal use. I email for business and other things. I can't see texting replacing emails. You can't send an attachment of documents in a text, at least not that I know of.

I hardly ever receive emails from friends unless it's a link to something to buy online or a news article to read. We text or call each other.

Email serves a great purpose for businesses, news outlets and a way to send documents.

Yes I get very few emails anymore and we don't have cell phones or do FB.

I only use texting for brief messages. I use e-mail for my longer messages.

You can take pictures of the documents and send them via a text. I do it all the time.

No. Txts replace phone conversations, email replaces formal written correspondence. Apples and oranges.

That's how I look at it. I can't imagine only using texting for work, at least the field I'm in.

You can't really print documents from a text.

But you can take a picture and text that. Of course if you have numerous documents it makes sense to email them.
