Re: Do you send Christmas Cards?

Yes...but this year, I only sent a handful...

I want those I care about and love to know they are thought about and cherished.

Re: Do you send Christmas Cards?

@amyb,

I do the same thing about writing a little note in the card, something I want to say to them.

I know most of my children's age send the photo cards and I appreciate getting them too but I really appreciate the words that are written to me especially and that's how I like to send them too.

No I don't see the point in it now.  You either keep up with people or I would let it go.  I have a cousin or two who are older than me, have no idea where they live or if they are dead.

I keep up with people, people who keep up with me too, or not.  No cards to people I contact once a year.

I send Christmas cards, and hope they are liked.  I have a beautiful one this year from World Wildlife.

I was preoccupied with selling my house last year and hope I will hear this year from my friends I wasn;t able to respond to last year.

Yet to me, they don't have to be reciprocated--I do hear from my old friends by phone--some are not too involved in the holiday  postal  exchanges.  I still like to send a card.

@Burnsite I need to go to their website and look for cards for next year. I sent out sixteen cards today. They were basic ones from American Greetings with a Christmas tree farm pictured.

Ironically, the last sentence is why I still do send out some of my Christmas cards.  It is to keep in touch with people that I don't necessarily see or talk to regularly but still love them and are thinking of them.

Haven't sent any cards in at least a decade.  The only ones I receive are from charities--LOL!!

I either call people or email them.  Works for me!
