Decades ago about 50-60, now only 2. Most has passed away or the others I call or text.

I did not this years, first time in at least 50 years.

Yes I send Christmas cards and will continue to do it as long as I have family and friends to send cards to, as long as my mind is intact, and as long as I can still write.
A simple card lets someone know you are thinking of them and took the time to show it. Unless I find myself penniless, the cost and cards and postage will never be the reason that keeps me from remembering those I care about!
I don't concern myself with following trends and what's considered in or out; I do what I feel is important to those on my card list and what I can live with.
**As of today, we've received 19 cards.

I do but not as many as I use to. People are sort of getting away from that and I get it but I still do some. I enjoy it.

I only send cards to people who aren't online.
Electronic cards to everyone else.

I mail 2. One to a former coworker friend of my husband who still sends us one and one to my girlfriend I've known since 1st grade. The other 2 I drop off. One to my hairdresser and one to a friend when we have dinner.

Yes, I still send them. Although, not as many as I used to. Some have passed away, but I still send cards out to the rest of my family and friends. ![]()

@on the bay wrote:Yes, I do still send them. Not many maybe 10 or so.
Most of the ones I send are to friends or family I rarely see and want them to know I'm thinking of them.
Most of the ones I do send to still like to send them too so it's Christmas card greetings from me to them and them to me.
I did kind of feel too at one point earlier that I might not send them anymore but I did and I'm glad I did.
Same here. It's dwindled over the years, but so has my family, sadly. But same with me now...maybe 7-10 people. Some out of state I don't see often, but also a few local friends/family I do see, too, who like sending and receiving cards still.
Many cards I get now are the photo/family cards either with no note or mention of the actual holiday, or a letter updating me on their life. Not my favs. It's nice seeing what everyone looks like now, and to hear what they've been up to if you never see them, I guess. But...on the other hand...those that I don't see, and haven't for years....kind of doesn't matter to me everything that's going on, like where their kid graduated from last year etc.
The cards I like to send and love to get...are about Christmas greetings, with a small note that tells me they're thinking of me during this holiday. I do the same. Ya know...the "old timey", actual sentiment of Christmas cards.
Luckily I still have some people that like that as much as I still do.
All that said...some years except for sending a few to special people, I've skipped it or not gotten to it...and I haven't put the ones I want to send this year in the mail yet!! Better get on it. ![]()

I send Christmas cards, and hope they are liked. I have a beautiful one this year from World Wildlife.
I was preoccupied with selling my house last year and hope I will hear this year from my friends I wasn;t able to respond to last year.
Yet to me, they don't have to be reciprocated--I do hear from my old friends by phone--some are not too involved in the holiday postal exchanges. I still like to send a card.
