I send a handful but I receive less and less every single year. So far I haven't gotten any at all.

We still send cards to family and friends, but not as many as in the past because some people are deceased. We sent about 20 this year. It doesn't bother me if it's not reciprocated. It's a tradition I like. As a child my parents sent and received nearly a hundred Christmas cards. I used to love looking at all the pretty cards. I still send birthday cards in the mail too. Just something I like to do.
Happy Holidays!

I send very nice holiday cards to about 6-8 people, mostly family. We decided to stop exchanging presents and send very nice cards, instead.
I really like the Papyrus cards and love that they'll be a lovely surprise when opened and displayed. Cheaper and easier to mail than packages.

I used to enjoy sending Holiday cards.
However, I've noticed that more and more family and friends and neighbors are sending email Holiday greetings.
So, I've respectfully been sending paper cards out to only those who send us cards.
So far, we have received one paper Christmas card.
Now, I just send nice email 'reply' greetings
I do appreciate the email greetings, too. Some send email Holiday photos, etc.
And, on a positive note, 'reply' emails save me a lot of time and postage.
Have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend.

A handy hint ..
A couple years ago, my sister made a bunch of those Avery 1 inch by 3 inch address labels with sheets of every family's addreses so everyone could just pop a seal on an envelope, another for a rturn address, and a cute holiday stamp.
Arthritis in the hands was the reason and EVERYONE made a big deal of them, thanking her for being so thoughtful. ![]()
Arthritis runs in our family, big time.

I still send Christmas cards, but not as many as I did years ago.
I used to send about thirty cards but many older relatives have passed away. I only send a dozen cards now. I sent them out on Monday.
I remember when I was a child in the 50's, so many cards were
sent out. The mailman would deliver them twice a day, during
December.

I don't send many now, mostly people far away. I mostly get ones from businesses.
We kept up with military families but most have passed away or we never see them so we've stopped.
I recall as a child we would send many. Those we received were displayed on the mantle or around a door as a decoration.

Yes, I enjoy sending Christmas cards very much. It's a chance to stay in touch with people I might not see over the year. And it's always so nice to get one back but I do it because I like keeping in touch. I will continue to send them and love every minute of it!
