Do you say "these ones"?

I watch beauty youtube videos a lot and I've been hearing this phrase A LOT.  The people I watched live in all different areas of the country so I don't think it's a regional thing.  It just sounds.... off.

No, I would NEVER say that.  It sounds totally off to me too.  If one of my boys said that phrase, I would correct them.  I know language is fluid and changes, but that is going in the wrong direction, in my opinion.

I don't think I've ever heard that. Unless I'm pointing at a group of items near each other and telling someone they can take "those ones". 

 

Care to share an example?

Have never used that phrase, but have said "these items" or "these things".
