I watched the Netflix documentary the other day.  It was fun seeing all the celebrities, especially those that have passed.  Watching brought back a lot of memories.

Anyone say what year that was? I watched that video over and over. All of those stars! Beautiful moving song. I believe it was done for a charity. Will have to watch again sometime although I can 't hear well anymore.

@qualitygal- I remember it well.  There was a program on TV not too long ago all about how it was done.  I have an cassette tape from that time somewhere.  Loved the song and the meaning.  Thanks for the memory.

DH was a DJ on an FM radio station. One time all stations played it at the same day and time. DH did too. 

As an aside, they were raising $$ to get food to Ethipoia. Food got there and rotted on the docks as the country lack the trucks and roads to get it all t the people that eeded it. A worthy idea gone bad.

I never cared for the song but found the Netflix documentary fascinating. It was interesting to see which singers didn't check their egos at the door. lol
