No!!   Why?  All that extra salt is not good, but I do know people who do it.

Yes! It tastes so much better with salt. And there's very few things I add salt to.

No salt but sometimes lime juice.  I sometimes use salt and pepper on cantalope!

And I just made a great salad with fresh pineapple, lime juice, thin-sliced cucumber, cilantro and a bit of s & p.  Delish!!

YES, I put a tiny bit of salt on my watermelon and also on my Red delicious apples.  YUM, YUM!!!

Yes always. Also put salt on tomatoes. That’s how we did it in Indiana!

Put salt on any fruit that is not ripe enough to be sweet!  Apples, oranges, cantelope, watermelon, strawberries, etc.  Take away the 'sour'.

Black pepper accentuates the sweet.  Great on strawberries!

No, not on watermelon.  On apples and rhubarb I salt.

i heard about it.  Was informed I should really, really do it.  But I never did.  Maybe something in the water?  Who knows.....Something profound wouldn't let me do it.

No I do not but what I understand is that the salt brings out the sweetness more.  Not sure about that since I've never tried it.

I've also seen recipes for grilled watermelon.
