No, I don't @Nataliesgramma , but I do know that some people do put salt on various types of fruit, believing that it sharpens and enhances the flavor.  Canteloupe is another one that some do put salt on.  Some gourmands are very fond of pepper on fresh strawberries, too.

Talking about unusual food combos makes me think of this little ditty, which for some reason I've always liked:

"I eat my peas with honey,

I've done it all my life.

It does taste kind of funny,

But it keeps them on the knife."

Yes, for as long as I can remember.  For me, a little salt actually enhances the sweetness.

I've always put just a little salt on my watermelon and cantalope.   I also like a little salt on my apples.

Salting one’s watermelon is something I grew up with. Lots of people do it.

But, please pass me the salt and hold the watermelon. I’ve evolved. Lol

Salt is used on substandard watermelon to make it seem better than it is. I love watermelon and eat it everyday when it's in season. Never would I salt it.

I put nutmeg on vanilla ice cream. Does anyone do that?
