I love salt on watermelon!!!

I like my watermelon very sweet, so I would never  put salt on it. My mother always thumps the watermelon, looking for the "ripe" ones.😁

They are usually sweet, but she sprinkles them with salt. I still don't understand that one, and didn't know other people did the same thing.😊

I grew up in the Northeast and have salted watermelon since I was a little girl. For me, it enhances both the flavor and the sweetness.

Yes. Yum!!! DH thinks I'm weird.

I use pink Himalayan salt only.

I also put salt on apples & peaches.

I used to eat lemons when I was a kid with salt on it.

I never heard of salting watermelon but I am going to try it next time I get one. I love watermelon
