I don't put them on my car because when i first began driving back in the day of metal cars and chrome bumpers there would always be an air pocket that got under the sticker. The bubble would eventually fill with water and before you knew it, you would have a rust spot on your car body or chrome bumper. Now, I don't want them because you don't know what will set off the attitude of the guy driving behind you. Political sign - nope. I might put my favorite radio station sticker on my plastic bumper. My Mother once wanted to get a "Don't follow me, I'm lost" sticker. It would have told the person behind her the truth. If she was supposed to turn at the next light, she was always in the wrong lane. I really can't think of a sticker that is safe to have. No matter what it says, there will be someone that doesn't like it.

Yes we have 'Adopt A Greyhound' as I am very into closing greyhound tracks and homing the greys.

When my kids were young I had their honor roll bumper stickers, also school mascots and the occasional amusement park, zoo or museum that we had visited.

No way.  They ruin the finish on your car...and IMO, some of them look trashy.

My state offers license plates that send a pittance of the amount they cost to fund certain 'causes' ~ state lighthouses, Blue Ridge Parkway, National Seashore Park,  several Universities, SPCA, etc.

I have the SPCA license plate.

One window sticker I can not mention here.
