Re: Do you own any stuffed animals?

Omgosh!

I have so enjoyed reading these responses!  Some made me laugh out loud and others brought a tear to my eyes.  ((((hugs)))) to all of you who have animals given to you by cherished loved ones who have passed.

I'm trying to remember which of you said you had 20 tubs of them!

Wow!

I can't imagine that - it would be an entire room of my already too small house. I know it's tricky to donate them - some charities will only take them if they still have tags on.

@feline groovy

Gracie isn't especially fond of them, but my most beloved dog ever, my beagle Blue, loved this giraffe in the photo below.  Blue passed in 2009 and I didn't keep the giraffe, but I have fond memories.

 These are my two most beloved sheep. Blanche is the white one.  She's named after my maternal grandmother, Bianca, who died a couple of months before I was born.  Of course I never met her, but I've always felt that she's my guardian angel.  When I'm in an especially sad or worried mood, I sleep with her.  Like someone else said, if hubby doesn't like it, then so be it. We have a California king bed, so there's plenty of room. Blanche's sweetheart is Bruno.  I bought him in Tuscany.  DH often leaves them in special places for me.. like in this pic when he set them up for my birthday "party". Ha!

I have a teddy bear collection.  A beautiful white one, a brown mink that lays on his belly and I even have one that is 25 years old that talks.  He has "buttons" you press and he will say, "I love you, too."

One of my little mascots on the top of my PC tower is a pink mohair poodle (sort of a beanie-babies size, but nicer fabric) that I got years ago on one of the QVC specials Annette Funicello used to do when she still was able to appear.

Poor Annette--I miss her on the Q and in the world.

ETA:  Another of my little mascots is a tiny Amish doll, wooden with a cloth bonnet and dress, that the late poster "Bairn" once sent me.  I miss Bairn in the world, too, sigh.
