I have two...both more than 40 years old.
A Clemson tiger that my now-DH gave me during his freshman year there 1971-72 (GO TIGERS! NATIONAL CHAMPS!).
A soft, black bear that I saw in a store somewhere and fell in love with--he bought it for me. This would have been in the mid-70's, and it was $25! That was an awful lot of money back then for a stuffed toy.

@shaggygirl I also have a large collection of beanie babies stored in plastic boxes I'd like to do something with. I collected them when they were popular many years ago and they still have their tags on. I also thought about donating them to a hospital.

Too many, everything from Beanie Baby's to Warner Bros collections.
Many Boyd's and just huge fun one's.
About 20 large totes of them. I know that's crazy but they are on a list to do something with.

I also had loads of Beanie babies donated a lot but kept the holiday ones. In fact I have my Valentine's ones on my Valentine's tree now.
I also have a Very old Boyds Bear given to me by a older friend that once worked for the company, it's a limited edition one with tags still on him and in great condition looks new.
Also have a camel I bought in the Heathrow airport!
Plus a few of ours son's, saving for his future kids.

Yes, I sure do. I do have a love for Teddy Bears, and have two that I brought back from England. They are beauties. We have a large black lab and a lion in our FR. Our GC enjoy them when they visit. There are also a few stuffed animals in our GC's dedicated guest room. By the way, don't know if this can be verified, but I once read that Prince Charles has his childhood Teddy who sometimes travels with him. I love antiques and have a collection of child-related treasures. A wicker doll carriage, a tiny child's chair, a high chair, a doll cradle, a doll oak dresser, and a very old child's push sled with wooden runners, displayed in my DR. Of course, they require a few Teddys. My home, my castle!

ask a question on this forum and you never know what kind of answers you'll get! i've been laughing and smiling while reading all the replies. who knew that someone aside from me (at my age), still owned stuffed animals! answer is, quite a few, and proud owners too! i'll be brave then and out myself. i still sleep with my tiny teddy bear. he's about 4 inches tall and he has an entire wardrobe from build a bear. my husband doesn't think it's weird at all. if he does, he's welcome to the couch. 😂

Yes, I have several. My prized possesion is a little gray elephant (aprox. 10") with his trunk turned up. In 1982 when my kids were small, the neighbor kids (ages 2 and 8)) played at our house constantly and would stay the night. My kids were 7, 3 and 1. We became very close with these neighbor kids since they were my kids ages.
When the neighbor girl was about 6ish she wanted to give me a Christmas gift but didn't have any money. She actually wrapped one of her favorite stuffed animals (the elephant) and gave it to me for Christmas. The story still has me in tears. We moved to a different neighborhood when the girl was about 16 and the boy had moved out on his own.
We are Facebook friends. She is 36 years old now.

Would like to donate them to a children's hospital or something like that but don't know if they're even wanted. Other than that, one bear all gussied up in a pretty dress w/a flowered straw hat and basket of posies hanging from her arm.
@shaggygirl I also have a bunch of beanie babies. Mine are on a shelf and not in plastic though. That is a great idea donating them to a children's hospital. Another idea might be the police dept. I know they give out stuffed animals to children under distress. There is no children's hospital here, but I might check out the police dept.

I have tons of small and medium ones that the little ones love to play with (zoo and pet shop) but only one that is on display, and that's a black bear from Harrods that a friend from London sent to me. I see nothing weird about this little guy sitting in my bedroom chair.
When my mom was in her 80s she decided to collect bunnies, and they were so cute all nestled on her bed. She never had a doll or stuffed animal in her life until I got her a cute bunny for Easter one year. She took it from there!
