@San Antonio Gal   I haven't had to have any dental work for a long time but I do get two teeth cleanings a year and because my teeth are sensitive I get some Novocaine for the cleanings.  My hygienist only does teeth scraping on me because I can't handle the speed drill they use to clean teeth,  I have never had nitris oxide

@Teddixat A DRILL to clean your teeth!!!! WHAT in the world I have never heard of this.  I can't stand the water pik like thing and do my best to avoid that type of cleaning...spraying everywhere plus sensitivity.  I only have the scraping done also and make sure the hygienist is aware of my preference or I won't go in.  Last time they didn't inform me that the usual gal who has been cleaning my teeth for several years no longer came in on the day she scheduled me with her 6 months prior.  NO call...so I show up and some new gal is insisting she uses the water thing and I am like I can't handle that and you also can't put my chair back to much as I get vertigo and the other gal new all this.  This gal was super tiny and short...she had to stand to clean and still used that awful water thing on some of my teeth!

I will never go in again without 1st calling to verify they didn't switch up hygienist's again.  NO confirming my appt....I will call 2 days prior to check and be assured of it.  I have issues with the dentist...fear and anxiety like alot of you ladies!  I have had good and bad experiences as most of us here have.  I never have taken the "gas" ...it was offered to me before for a filling but I am more afraid of it then getting the filling Woman LOL

Now I will be asking about this new thing....cleaning teeth with a DRILL...never no way no how!
