Do you look forward to certain things each season?

                                        For me they are:

Spring--clean, declutter, organize, and donate

Summer--farmers markets and art fairs

Fall--pumpkin spice flavored food and beverages

Winter--holiday movies

I enjoy summer. I sit on my porch for hours looking at the mountains and the wildlife. It is melon season. We eat cantaloupe and watermelon daily.

The other three seasons do not fit my Goldilocks criteria.

Hi @RetRN

Yes!  I do.  That's what I like about where I leave in the northeast-- all the seasons.  Sometimes in one day.  LOL

Jokes aside, I do enjoy all the seasons.  It is a very important aspect of my ability to keep moving forward no matter what. A new season is something to look forward to, something to plan around.

I like all the things you mentioned, too. I'd add that in the Spring the return of longer sunlight is a big mood brightener.  But the other side of it, going darker longer can feel good, too.  It's the balance of things coming and going.  I enjoy all of it.

We don't really get a Spring anymore but Summer, Fall and Winter all have their joys and I look forward to them.  Now I'm looking forward to warm/hot weather and long days.  Farmer's Market, eating at our favorite beach side restaurants, early morning walks around the neighborhood. Wearing all the summer clothes I've been buying since February.

I enjoy the fall because of Halloween. Each year I buy a horror movie on DVD and just enjoy watching it on October 31st.🤡

Longer, sunnier days as winter morphs into spring. The warming sun of summer is a real joy. Opening the windows and getting outside in the fresh air.

Fall is always a reminder that winter is not far behind, but Christmas is always one of the brightest times of year. The New Year is always a promise of renewal and better things to come.

Look forward to fall, winter and the first part of spring. Hate summer. That's when we in Arizona hibernate. Can't do anything after about 8 o'clock because it's to darn hot and there are weeks when the low is in the 90's and it still can be over 100 at midnight. But come October thru April, that's the time to come out and go for walks, shop, do things outside and enjoy.

We live in the woods. I enjoying seeing the change of seasons. Now, the trees are getting green and soon we won't be able to see through the trees into the woods.

We have a beach house so I look forward to summer every year.  I have been working for a school system full time for the past 5 years and I do have to work part of the summer.  But I am resigning my position as of 6/14 so I have the summer off!  This will be the first time since 2018 that wie will spend the entire summer at the beach and I can't wait!
