My house drives me nuts!! My bedroom is too large with cathedral ceilings, but the space to entertain, family room, is too small. Kitchen countertops are too small for prep, and can barely fit a toaster on them. My husband built a bar for me, but if I need to prep food, then I have to keep walking back and forth to the stove. The counter top near the stove is totally inadequate! Turned my living room into my dining room as dining room was tight, and no one used the room ever. Not crazy about this arrangement either. Husband won't even entertain making the living room, which is large, into the family room!! No, so we're in a room with furniture stuffed everywhere, no walls to hang anything, just huge windows. It was originally a sun porch. I've lived in this house for 35 years, and I spend more crabbing about it. Husband was too stubborn over the years to move. Nope, he says he's very comfortable, and says we don't entertain enough to re-do rooms over. Okay I've gotten that off my chest....
