No; the houses here in CT are built for the freezing temperatures so it's not an issue.

I was doing that and then they did the rolling blackouts yesterday and an hour and a half later I found I had no water and still don't. I am upset. Plus when I tried to open the door handle on my truck I yanked it out of the socket, plate, handle and all. Sheesh Now what!

I have been letting mine drip @CherryHugs. We have had some negative temperatuers this week, this is not our normal winter. There have been lots and lots of people I know whose water pipes have burst.

We did in N.D., but if there's a chance of the pipes freezing, you bet!!!!

Yes, we do.  We are in SE VA so extreme cold is not our norm.
