Maybe I can't come here (viewpoints/ forums) anymore.

You are very liked and appreciated here. You're articulate and intelligent and contribute a lot to the community.

I like your name {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1} There is a poster here that scares me. That's another one of my traits. I'm, at times, abnormally fearful.

Thank you again, Cattitude Smile

You're welcome and thank you too. Smiley Happy)

I think it's a natural thing to have fears, we all have them. Hope you have a good night's rest.

Is it fear or paranoia?

I had a brother that was bi-polar. I chose not to post here because I already said too much in another thread. He is deceased and life was not easy for him.

Your honesty is refreshing. Please do not feel like you shouldn't post here. Everyone has life struggles. But you are a perfect reminder that we need to support one another. Life is hard enough! I am so glad you came through so many medical issues. I hope you continue to do well and manage your BP symptoms.

Sylvia, please don't let certain posters intimidate you. I think in this particular case, you should use the "ignore user" feature to block out the sadistic negativity of a certain poster and keep on posting to your heart's content.

dooBdoo, I can be a chameleon. I work at being my authentic self. Sometimes, I think I need life's permission. If I stopped dying my hair, wearing makeup, dressing (cute) (to my friends and family) I don't think I would be as much myself as I am now {#emotions_dlg.laugh} What I've always wanted and always denied, is acknowledge the gifts I have. I am blessed (no apostrophe over the last "e" lol

Yes daily..I Work in Mental Health..27+ years experience...inpatient..outpatient...been to court..etc..I also work in a Psychiatric Crisis Unit..more like a Emergency Room/Dept for mentally il..

and YES they can be frightening and dangerous..sometimes to themselves and sometimes to others. Each person is different...depends on the person ..but have seen them hurt themselves..others..and even murder others..often they don't even know their own level of aggression.

It has not been officially called Manic Depression/Depressive for years..not as a legal diagnosis that you want to be reimbursed for..or billable hours..

Excellent advice, RD.{#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Problem is, that particular person shows up with a new nic to be put on "ignore" every few days/weeks/etc., but the modus operandi is always the same.{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}
