Do you know about Perpetua.us ?

Since all of you feel it so deeply when a pet passes, I thought I'd pass this along. Last year, when my brother visited from out of state, I noticed he was wearing a pendant. Since I'd never known him to wear jewelry, I inquired about it. Turns out it is DNA from his beloved cat, Max, that he had turned into a remembrance.

I don't pretend to understand the science behind it, but here's the website for Perpetua Life Jewels:

There is a short video that explains the process, and you can look at the various type of jewelry (mostly pendants and a bracelet, I think).

You can submit a blood sample, cheek swab, and/or hair from your pet, and they somehow bind the DNA to a colorful substance, and encase it in a small tube. The effect is really beautiful.
