...some old, ratty clothes that are so comfy you can't bear to part with them? I have a shirt with black and white horizontal stripes--kind of like a sailor's shirt. It's old, it's ratty, I look about 100 years old when I wear it, and I love it.

I do too but sometimes I'm in the mood for an old and trusty old shirt or jeans, etc., for reading a good book on a chilly night...cuddled up with DH  (he's old and trusty too Woman Wink )

No I don't keep many old, well worn clothes. I cycle some into garden/work clothes, but they get tossed by end of summer.

Now I do have one old Ralph Lauren denim shirt I wear when I dye my hair. It cracks me up there are no dye stains on that shirt....so I don't toss it. It has to be 30 years old. I only wear it to dye my hair and even my dh knows it's my hair dying shirt. 😀

Sure do!

I have a few long sleeve henley shirts from Duluth Trading that I can't part with. Prob 7 years old and still wear them for weekend chores and trips to the hardware store with Keds sneakers and rockin' the Pandemic Ponytail.

I would get laughed right outta the Fashion Forum. 😄

Nope.  That's not who I am.  Also I don't live alone.. Hubby and I share our home with my nephew's little family.  I like looking nice even when I'm not going out.  If anything, I overdress.

I had an Etsy business for 12 years and used to do a lot of painting.  Rather than wear a smock I wore old schmatta paint splattered clothes.  However they are long gone now since I don't need to wear old clothes and don't have my Etsy shop anymore.

Now when I lounge around the house, I like to look as good (for me) as I feel.  I have my nice & cute loungewear.... no more schmattas!

No, I have never had any ratty clothes.  Nothing I have ever had got to the point of ratty.  When anything started looking old, it was trashed.  I also have very few if any old clothes.  I am a good purger and donate older clothes or newer ones I no longer like.

I have over-many nice newer clothes I like to wear.

I have one Cuddl Duds wrap that I bought when I was big, so it's the wrong size, but I leave it hang on the back of our bedroom door in case I need it.  It's loaded with pills and is a pet hair magnet, but I keep hanging onto it.
