I can't access it today. The circle goes round and round and doesn't connect. MSN comes on and asks for a password which I don't have but they know  my name. I am not computer savy and am lost. Any help would be appreciated. This is a laptop if it makes a difference.

@halfpint1, I tried mine as well, and there wasn't a problem.  Maybe re-boot your computer and try again?

Are you saying that you never had a password or that you forgot what it is? All accounts have a password attached to them.

If you forgot your password, you can retrieve it by entering your user name and clicking on the Can't access your account? link.

Happens with Outlook, too.   Just X it out, and reopen.

My son came over and fixed it. What I read msn is having problems. He said we never had an account at msn.

Hotmail IS MSN.  I think they both had problems this week.
