@Sooner I am Curious how you learned that pants were necessary when driving.

Ohhhh I bet it's related to the loose cat in the car.

Loose cat + no pants = OUCH  Smiley Very Happy

I posted this on the jewelry forum here a while back---if you wear those adjustable bracelets (the ones with sliding beads that leave part of the chain dangling) be careful when driving. Some steering wheels have gaps or slits in them and the chain can become caught in there. It happened to me when pulling into a parking lot and my hand was stuck lol. I was able to pull into a parking space with my left hand but had very little room to turn the steering wheel.

I was able to get untangled without breaking the bracelet but when it first happened I tried mightily to just break the bracelet and couldn't. I remove them now before driving. Lesson learned.

If you drive a medium or especially larger vehicle like a van or truck, mind the smaller economy cars. IF you have the option to not park right next to them, don't. We can't see when we need to pull out making it dangerous for us and anyone else around when we're forced to back up blindly.

Place your furbaby in a secure position...belted, crated or whatever. Just make them safe from being ejected or tossed around if you have an accident.

When following someone with out of state plates, be extra cautious as well as courteous.

Oftentimes, they will be unfamiliar with the area, may slow down a lot to look at road signs, and may make quick turns with little or no signals as they don't really know where they are or where they are going.

We have an attraction in the area that draws a lot of out of state people in the summer and there are a few intersections where people not from here, may run the stop sign thinking they have the right of way (it's an odd set up), and I always try to give them a break when they cut me off at that intersection, as I understand it is confusing.

Quick turns with little/no signals?

Run a stop sign?

Those aren’t confused out-of-state drivers,

they are BAD-shouldn’t-be-driving out-of-state drivers.

Classic case of Distracted Driving which has nothing

to do with texting or on your cellphone.

Last I heard, the worldwide sign for “STOP” is a 6-sided red sign.

Read up on driving on ice.  So you know not to slam on your brakes, etc.
