Next door they're putting something together.  It's either a chicken coop or a she-shed.  I have kidded my husband about that. LOL   No idea what they're putting together.  Maybe it's to store the kids bikes in.  No idea.

I don't need a she shed. We do have a large shed out back.

DH uses it when it's not too hot or cold. He listens to music or watches TV while smoking a cigar & drinking some whiskey.

It's nice now so he uses the patio right now for doing the same.

When it's too cold he can go to his man cave aka spare bedroom with no bed in it anymore.

I heard a new name for a "she shed" today on HGTV.  The designer called a room she had designed as a "Lady Lair".

I use an extra bedroom and my husband uses another extra bedroom.  Every time the she-shed commercial comes on I say that I'd settle for an outdoor fireplace and my husband gives me the look.  🙄

I have a co-worker whose father built her a she-shed in her back yard.  It's got electricity and heat/air.  I think if I really needed all that I'd just try to buy a bigger house before I went to that expense.

Look forward to your update @qualitygal.  Will you need a fence or some evergreens on that property line?  I hope the neighbor's chicken coop or she-shed or whatever it is looks good when they're done.

My dad built my mom one 20 years ago, way before it was an actual thing  Mom called it her potting shed.  It was beautiful had a front porch, running water and electricity. They moved from that home a couple years ago.
