My sister and I went to England on vacation about 30 years ago. We were visiting Westminster Abbey , I think, and entered a room that had the tombs of  Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth.   They were either on top of each other or next to each other.

When we entered the room, I felt a very strong energy around me. It was overpowering and felt like anger or hatred to me.  The closer I came to the tombs, the stronger it felt.  Other people were just chatting and examining the room. My sister and I looked at each other and left the room. 

The guide had  said that  they despised each other and never would have agreed to remain in the same room, much less for eternity.

I know this will sound crazy, but I believe my mom has visited me twice.  She passed away when I was in high school.  The day I was going back to school after her funeral she stood in my doorway and told me it was time to get up for school and to take good care of my sister.  The second time was when I was pregnant with my first child.  I was having a difficult pregnancy.  She came to me and was rocking the baby in a rocking chair and said it would be ok.  The baby was wearing pink.  When I had the baby and she was girl I was so surprised, because we didn't know what we were having.  Sadly, since my dad passed away a few years ago I haven't felt my mom's prescence around me.  Maybe it's just me missing her.  However, I do believe there are spirits/angels/guides that are here among us.

My son hears spirits talking, but not to him.  I understand that some people communicate with them verbally, but many of them use specialized equiptment to do this.

Sarah Estep used to communicate with the dead with electronic equipment.  She was a pioneer in the field of paranormal activity communication.  I used to follow her interesting work until she died some years ago.

My guess Is that they cannot speak to us, but sometimes they can and do in our dreams.  You might ask Grandma to communicate with you in your dreams.  Maybe she will.

That is so interesting that you have seen spirits since you were a child. Thank you for sharing with me that they never spoke to you either.
I use to dream about grandma nearly every night, but as time has gone by, those dreams seem few and far between. I will ask her tonight

I was in a "head on "car accident and seconds before I hit a car that slid in my lane on an icy bridge in front of me, and a voice whispered in my right ear," You are going to be alright!" I tried to ease the blow by cranking the stearing wheel to the right and slid in  sideways. I broke my nose and both bones and wrist in my right arm. I believe it was my Guardian Angel. Yes I was o.k.

@fortune  no. It is so involved, and mine(  naturally) was semi religious. If my husband hand't see it too, I would have doubted  that it happened

I will only say I think our charity was being tested, perhaps. I have no other explanation for it. This might get poofed ,but,  a verse comes to me when I think about it. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers ,for there by some have entertaineed angels unaware

I was never frightened ,only  puzzled, and I still am, all these many years later. It is also not very interesting, unlike the other events posted here
