Do you have a favorite chef or cook?

I'm speaking of a TV chef or cook.  My favorites have always been  popular ones. I have always loved Julia Childe , and Jacque Pepin, and Martha Stewart

Julia sort of blazed a trail for everyone else. She was a bit of a wild card ,and when she was first on Tv ,you never quite knew what to expect from her. She wasn't one bit stuffy

I have always loved Jacque Pepin for his kindness, as well as his food. I love to see him with his granddaughter. She is the apple of his eye, and you can just see how much he loves her. I like to hear him him talk about his mother's restaurant, in France, and  see him with his friend  John Claude.

I really like Martha because, she is a wonderful teacher, and always makes something original ,and different from the rest. I really liked her with her mother, who was a wonderful cook

There are others I enjoy, but these 3 are my favorites

Re: Do you have a favorite chef or cook?

I like pretty much all the TV chefs on PBS. Jacques Pepin is a particular favorite. I like Ming Tsai and the Japanese chefs on Cooking With the Chef too.

There is one I don't care for at all. The Jazzy Vegetarian. She has her overly auto tuned voice singing throughout the show and not only is it bad, it's distracting. Her recipes are not very appetizing, which is a shame. Some appetizing vegetarian recipes would be nice. I'm not at all attracted to vegan.

Re: Do you have a favorite chef or cook?

I love her ( Lidia) and especailly with Grandma. I like the chefs who reveal some ot their life ,as they cook

The used to have a guy from NOLA I liked, and all at once he was gone. It seems he was  sexual harasser  OY....I would have never guessed it. I could be a a room of 100 respectable people and I would somehow make a bee line for  the 1 bad eggWoman LOL

They have replaced, him with a huge black guy, built like a football player, and as gentle and a lamb. He is a lot of fun

I didn't know Jacque was in a terrible car accident back ,in around the 1970's ,and nearly died. He hit a deer, I think, and was really in very bad shape. American Masters did a program about him. Watch for it, I think you will like it
