Re: Do you have a WORD for yourself (a behavior) for this new year?

For 20 years, or so, I listen to my still, small voice for a word or phrase for the next year. I explore the word and learn / practice. Each year the word has been challenging. One year I had to repeat 'gratitude' because I was so bad at it. But this year, the word is so promising. It should be interesting.

As someone mentioned -- continually practicing mindfulness. Much to learn.

I'll have what @FrostyBabe1 is having for 2020. Yes, 'enough' IS enough.

Patience!   Although I never express it outwardly I tend to get irritated with others when I am out driving or shopping.

I'm working on trying to ignore their behavior and just continue on with my day.     I'm sure that at times I irritate others too.

I don't have a word for the new year, but I have an inspirational quote by Mohandas Ghandi that I say EVERY morning after prayer; "Be the change you want to see in the world".

I'm going to try not to buy it unless I need it.

My word would have to be--save.

I'm searching for more than a word.  Words and quotes and sayings and prayers are good, but it takes something much more than repeating a word or two.
