Well I don't knpw abput anyone else but I'm exhausted just reading this.!! Bless you.

Keeps me going.  My Dr. wanted me to talk to people, especially older ones.

Exercise to me is like eating.  Something I need to do. I also like to do. My body would rebel if I didn't and depression would set in.

I have plenty of energy and time.  Yet, when I was  working, I went to the gym after work before going home.

My kids were all gone, married. It's a way of life for me. Im 89 and take care of a four bedroom house, two yards , run errands etc.

I think it's because of exercise, i am strong, mentally and phycially.

Use it or lose it.  Ha, a little humor.

@qvcaddition It is women like you that make women like me look bad!! You are an inspiration. Rock on girl. I go to our local gym for physical therapy twice a week. And I love it.

I don't currently go to a gym, but I do go weekly to both a Pilates and a Yoga studio.  I have gym equipment at home that I use.  I would be lying if I said I'd done this my entire life, but I've learned that this is the only way I stay healthy.

Three mornings a week.  I really hate getting up and driving over to my gym, but once I get there, it's fun.  And I feel sooo good when I'm done and on my way home!   It's something I do for me and my old heart.  Heart

Thank you. Started at 23 and still doing at 89. Change routine, but still is

important.    Just something. Some seniors I come across, walk a mile a day at 88, 95.  One at 92 goes to a senior zumble class. Still they live alone.

Yes...I've had a gym membership the last 14 years.  I try to get there at least 3 times a week.  If I don't, I can really tell the difference.  I do light weights and the treadmill.  Reva

Re: Do you go to the gym?

[ Edited ]

I recently joined a gym and am enjoying it so far.  Used to go to a different gym years ago but like this one more.  Have met some nice people too.  Can already feel myself getting a little stronger which is encouraging.

@Melbalee

Thank goodness there are no gyms in our tiny town.
