I do create an image in my mind, of those who interest me. I had a chance to test this on a forum a few years ago.

I posted often with a guy in Australia who became a friend. There was a safe way to trade contacts if desired. First we traded phone numbers and had great conversations.

Then photos. This gentleman looked almost exactly as I had pictured him in my mind. It was downright uncanny.

So, yes, I do get a pic in my mind. But, this was probably a once in a lifetime guess that was right. Hm, maybe not? I think we have many clues, of how someone might present in person, if we pay attention to what they're sharing, verbally, or in writing.

My name comes from my beloved heart dog, Cody. I have always used that name with various numbers behind it. Because of my name I have been mistaken for a man many times, lol.

@beckyb1012 I wasn't going to bring up the "not what I thought it was" QVC shopping experience, but this is my latest regret. Those tassels looked WAY smaller on TV.

Yes! However I'm usually wrong and way off! For example, many years ago there was a regular poster here and for some reason I pictured her in my mind as having fair complexion with a shiny dark bob. At one point she did post a photo of her self and she had curly blonde hair!

There have been other regulars that I have sort of imagined how they look but not everyone.
