Re: Do you ever worry about going to the movies?

Whenever I go into a building of any kind, especially a large public one, the first thing I look for are the EXIT signs. That way I will at least have an idea of where to go...just in case. During my last visit to Walmart, I asked the store manager to escort me around the store and show me exactly where they were. He was more than willing to help me.Woman Happy

It crosses my mind when we first sit down but we still go occasionally.

Enjoy the show, @cherry.

Good advice @SilleeMee. They told us to always be aware when  we had the 911 attacks, and I think people forgot about it

Re: Do you ever worry about going to the movies?

Last time I went to the movies was in 2003.  I remember because it was the summer I broke my arm and was wearing a brace.

We were on vacation and it was a rainy afternoon - nothing else to do so we went to the movies.  It was a movie about a race horse.  I dozed off.

Before that ... prior movie was E.T. that I saw when I lived in CA.

No ... I don't worry about going to the movies!

I really want to see this film for my husbands sake, and maybe mine too, and it just looks like something you need to see on a big screen to really do it justice. It looks really beautiful, from the clips I have seen

I do not go to the movies anymore. Too many rude people on their cellphones, talking to one another, kids, not to mention fights. Bad behavior on many levels that make it an unpleasant experience for which you pay good $. No thanks.

Had to use a Fandango gift card, so we went during the day. Very quiet and comfortable with about ten people in the place.

Re: Do you ever worry about going to the movies?

My husband and I love the movies, but only do matinees during the week. The movie has fewer that 6 people for a showing in any given theater at that time of the day. That being said, we have not gone to see a movie since last Christman Day and at this point think it's better just to buy the DVD and watch it at home.

There are just some things ,I think, that a big screen adds to the enjoyment ,and this looks like one of them

I also want to see A Wrinkle in Time

Yes, I do worry about it.
